The importance of the current research is important to emphasize the importance of focusing on the use of visual elements in television programs in general and educational programs in particular. The research aims at comparing the program "Mehrab El Nour", which is part of the program map of Sudan National Television, "Produced and broadcast by the Teiba satellite channel &#xD;

Abstract: This paper discusses the issue of media translation and the problems of using it in the mass media. Translation has become a common denominator in all types of information services. Thus increasing the dissemination of information and making it the most influential art of language in the nature of the material presented to the public. The use of translation has also helped to give more opportunities to thinkers to spread their ideas and convince people through discussions and exchange of arguments and evidences. While many people used the term translation to express this art, others, including ancient Arabs, used the term "Art of transfer- interpretation", limiting the idea to text conversion. Through the history, the translation industry has differed in how to transfer information from the source language to the target language, but they agreed that there were three forms of translation. These forms are: literal translation, free translation, and reliable translation.&#xD;
The paper reviewed the forms of translation used by modern means of communication, pointing to the advantages and disadvantages of these methods. The paper also pointed to a number of linguistic errors that resulted from the translation from English to Arabic.&#xD;
It then presented the problems faced by the media translation, which consisted of three things: synonyms, the difficulty of transmitting the culture of language, and the different structures that do not have clear criteria for transmission through translation. At the end of the paper, the researcher cited a number of important recommendations to activate the translation in contemporary mass media.</description>
