Abstract: Immigration officer working in the department of Passport of Sudanese Citizens Immigrants Working Abroad Agency passports section are facing huge stress during interaction with Sudanese immigrants and many reasons. The purpose of the study is to identify the effectiveness of the awareness program to prevent or ease the stress. The researcher used the experimental method (designing two groups). The study is randomized control trial of immigration officers. The sample size (30) (admin officer and lines, male and female) officer working at passport section in Passport of Sudanese Citizens Immigrants Working Abroad Agency. The number of the sample of the study was ( 30) equally distributed to control versus trial, for randomized control trial study. Tools of the study were based on the measurement of psychological stress and stress awareness program set it up by the researchers. Statistics Package for Social Science (SPSS) was used for the analysis of the result used (T) test to find differences in psychological stress after applying the program, (ANOVA and KAI) test to get the equivalence of two variables (gender and ranks). The results of the study showed stress is common and high prevalence among immigration officers working in the department of Sudanese Citizens Immigrants Working Abroad Agency passports section; however, the level of psychological stress is no of difference among ranks or genders and the effectiveness of the awareness program is insignificant. On the light of the above results ,the study concluded several recommendations and the most important of it is which recruiting a full-time psychologist in security institutions. Also, it recommends more empirical researches in the field of counselling. The study suggests a research proposal for which is the most effective in the administration organization program to reduce work load and stress among employees in the police community services complex in the stat of Khartoum.
