|Abstract:||The study dealt with the risks of the intermediate stations for transporting solid waste and their impact on the environment surrounding the application to the Al Quoz intermediate station. The problem of the study was represented in the increase in solid waste accumulation in the intermediate stations, leaving it untreated at the Al Quoz sub-station and not transporting it at the required speed, which caused many risks associated with pollution, whether it was air, soil or food pollution, which could occur through flies as an intermediate carrier. The study aimed to find out the negative effects resulting from the accumulation and survival of solid waste for a long time in the Al Quoz Intermediate Station, and to know the effect of solid waste on air, water and soil in the study area, and then to analyze the relationship between solid waste in Al Quoz Intermediate Station and the type of housing in the study area. The study followed the inductive and inferential approach in addition to the statistical method. Among the most important results of the study is the accumulation and survival of solid waste for a long time in the Al Quoz Intermediate Station, which has many negative effects. There is a significant effect of solid waste on the air, water and soil in the study area. The unpleasant odors emitted from the intermediate station directly affect the health of the population. The study recommended a number of recommendations, including working on developing a waste disposal method to reduce unpleasant odors emitted from the intermediate station that affect the health of the population, working on using the best means to reduce air pollution by the station, disposing of waste in the area in specific and proper ways to ensure that water is not contaminated. Work to apply various control methods to the plant’s work and waste disposal methods.|
