Abstract: This thesis is entitled Syllabus Design for Arabic non-native speakers Students, Faculties of Arabic Language, Bachelor Level. Those students are not at the same level with their classmates who speak Arabic Language as mother tongue, so it is necessary to find a syllabus for Arabic non-native speakers. The problem of this thesis is summarized in: what is the possibility of setting a proposal to design a syllabus for Arabic non-native speakers students at the Faculties of Arabic Language, Bachelor level. The researcher has used the descriptive approach which based on analysis as well as historical approach. The researcher met Arabic non-native students at the Faculty of Arts, Arabic Department in order to know their needs. The researcher also prepared study of proposal to build a syllabus related to those students needs. Thesis sample includes many experts in this field in Sudan, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and The United States of America. Consequently they has done the arbitration of this proposal according to their experiences. The most important results of this thesis: - Arabic Language syllabus for non-native speakers is based on academic principles: linguistic, psychological and cultural principles. - The academic principles and the educational standards are very important for comprehensive syllabus that meets the students requirement and desires. - It is possible to design syllabus for Arabic non-native speakers. Thus the researcher has made a proposal of that. It contains the four main skills of Arabic Language and It is science for the range of four years, detailed with each skill, aims, contents, strategic of teaching and calendar, that is different from the united syllabus which is studied by native and non-native students.
