Abstract: The research title: "Media campaigns and their effectiveness in the success of childhood care programs, a descriptive and analytical study applied to UNICEF from January 2014 to December 2018 AD." Email: may91mona@hotmail.com The aim of the research is to pay attention to the issue of child care from several angles and this interest extended naturally to the scientific and academic circles, the researcher sought to study the effectiveness of media campaigns in the success of childhood care programs and highlighted and clarified what UNICEF presents in the field of child care and awareness development and changing negative behavior towards beliefs, customs, traditions and norms Inherent in the local community in the Republic of Sudan through media campaigns as an international organization with a diverse audience representing different segments of society. The research problem was to answer the main question: What role do media campaigns play in the success of childhood care programs? The research included aspects, including theoretical and applied aspects, where the researcher used in that descriptive approach and the analytical method, the research was presented to the study in four chapters, the first of which represents the methodological framework and the second is entitled media campaigns and included three topics. The first topic The general concept of media campaigns and their importance. Media campaigns and their characteristics, the third topic, the stages of planning media campaigns and the steps for their implementation, and the third chapter entitled Child Care and includes three topics. The first topic is the concept of child care and education, The second topic includes violence against children and the care of rights in Islam and international standards, and the third topic is the protection of the rights of the child in exceptional circumstances. The fourth chapter of the study included a field study and contained an introduction to the application and an explanation of the methodological procedures that included the research sample. With it, where the researcher chose the research community in the Republic of Sudan, which included a number of male and female respondents, in six states, and she selected the stratified random sample that represents the scientific sample in the selection. The number was 151 respondents randomly distributed to all categories of the research community, The research concluded with several results, the most important of which is that the research has proven the success of the media campaigns carried out by UNICEF in the success of childhood care programs in Sudan, as well as the media campaigns in the UNICEF organization have contributed to changing the concepts of Sudanese society towards inherent customs and traditions, especially female circumcision. The study recommended a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which is that it is necessary to focus on awareness campaigns through radio and television, and it also recommended to officials to focus more on educating children because there is a clear relationship between early child labor and the spread of illiteracy.
