Abstract: The purpose of this research is to discover the commitment of mathematics teachers to the use of the table of specifications when they set their achievement tests, as judged by teachers of secondary schools in the locality of JABAL AWLIYA-ALAZHARI unit. To achieve this goal, the researcher followed the descriptive method, using the questionnaire as his tool, for the collection of data. He used SPSS program for analysis of data. The results revealed that mathematics teachers follow consistently the use of the table of specifications when they set their achievement tests. The degree of commitment is generally great, as seen by members of the research sample. The researcher recommends the need for the training of secondary teachers to enable them to set their achievement test according to the table of specifications
