Abstract: This research seeks to evaluate the Arabic language course for grade six in the Gambia from the point of view of teachers at brikama town as model, and conducted a sample of 50 male and female teachers, and the researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach and used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information. Among the most important results are: To some extent the objectives of Arabic language course are comprehensive, clear and appropriate to the characteristics of the pupils, from the teachers as well the contents are fairly significant in the development of pupils abilities, with the fact that teaching methods used are to some extent relevant to achieve the objectives of the course, and also the methods used in the evaluation of the course are somewhat comprehensive. The researcher then recommended the following: The content of the Arabic language course should not be limited to the rules of the Arabic language without training pupils to apply them in different fields, while eliminating phrases and terms that are difficult for pupils to understand, in addition taking into account the importance of linking past experiences of the pupils to the subsequent practice, with training teachers to learn more about old and new teaching methods.
