Abstract: Researcher name: Eman Taha Hassan Ahmed. This study is titled :The role of public relations programs in telecommunications companies in activating social responsibility - An analytical descriptive study of application on Zain Telecom in the period from 2018-2019 This research submitted to obtain a master's degree. Study reviews the public relations programs of Zain Telecom and its role in social responsibility. The importance of this study is reflected through the programs and the activities carried out by the public relations department of the company within the framework of social responsibility. The methodology of this study depends on the descriptive approach depending on the method of analysis. The sample was randomly selected from the research community that consists of the participants of the company. The questionnaire was distributed to a number of the study sample distributed in the three cities: Khartoum, Khartoum North, and Omdurman The questionnaire is the tool of this study in addition to the observation through the visits made by the researcher to the participants' services to get acquainted with the program provided by the company and its participation in solving the problems of education, health, environment, and social activities. The research consists of four chapters as follows: Chapter One: Methodological Framework Chapter Two: The Concept of Public Relations (Origin and Function) Chapter Three: Corporate Social Responsibility Chapter Four: Field Study The most important results of this study are as follows: The public relations programs of the company meet the needs of the subs, it is clear through the study that the services provided by the company to subscribers are many, which distinguishes it from some competing companies ,the company's public relations department reflects its activities for the internal and external public. Most important recommendations of this study: Company must pay attention to research and field studies to get acquainted with the latest developments and requests from the public, public relations should pay attention to social media sites: (WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter) that link them directly to the public in order to provide services and know their performance with their direct response , company should pay attention to public relations, its activities and its effectiveness in the field of social responsibility
