dc.description.abstractThis study is aimed at recognizing the partial method and its role in the developing of reading skill for first- grade students, from the teachers' point of view. - The researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach, using the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data, representing the study population in the teachers of the first grade in basic education at Khartoum locality- Jabra unit, and a random sample of 50 teachers has been selected. - The study found the following conclusions: Studying letters and word syntax enable good reading and the method is attractive to students. Teachers see that the partial method requires many teaching aids to develop the reading skill. Partial method approaches help distinguishing the shapes of the letters. - The study reached the following recommendations: Reveal and address causes of poor reading skill of the first grade students. Qualify teachers to teach Reading Skill. Find out how to teach reading skills and then identify the methods used and how diverse they are, to the extent that they achieve the goals.en_US
