|Abstract:||The study examined the low level of academic achievement in mathematics in the secondary school certificate from the teachers' point of view, Khartoum State - Omdurman locality. The study aimed to identify the low academic achievement in mathematics and its relationship to the course of the subject, content, teaching and evaluation. Study methodology, descriptive method. The tool used by the questionnaire to collect and analyze data. The study sample consisted of 60 individuals representing more than 30% of the study population of 159 teachers and mentors, and it targeted those studying the third grade) high school certificate ) . The most important results are the correlation of the objectives of the mathematics course for third-year high school students with the needs of society and the students' preferences. Mathematics content does not take into account individual differences between students. The teaching methods used are the traditional method. The lack of good correlation between mathematics curricula in the basic and secondary stages led to students ’weakness in the basics of mathematics. In light of the previous results, the researcher recommends several recommendations, the most important of which are: Reviewing the current mathematics content in order to achieve the desired educational and educational goals. And qualifying mathematics teachers with continuous training to raise their scientific and professional competencies. And interest in modern educational methods. The researcher suggests conducting a recent study that deals with mathematics curricula in Sudan at all educational levels. And conducting applied studies on the use of modern technology in teaching mathematics.|
