Abstract: This study aims at understanding the psychological adaptation within the pupils (level three) of basic schools of British schools in Jabal Awliya local government. the researcher adopted the description method and applied the questions for collecting data on a random selected sample of both male and female pupils representing both class seven and eight, the researcher applied (SPSS) program for statistical analysis 40 statements were subjected for data analysis, repletion percentage and mean were handled for each statement .the attitude of responders and statistical significationces are tracked. Parson’s formula is also applied. The following results are achieved: The psychological adaptation of the pupils under the study does not show moderate significance. The psychological adaptation of the pupils under the study seems to be of low level accordingly to the academic adaptation does not show and higher level. There is no statistical significance between psychological adaptation and self effectiveness .important of the study recommendations is that the department of guidance at ministry of education has to work hard to provide well trained sufficient social supervisors and researchers for all basic schools.
