Abstract: This study aimed to identify the importance of strategic media planning of the media institutions and its effectiveness and its role in stability of the media institutions and to know the extent of which the strategic media planning's reflect on the television message and televisions program at sudania 24 channel and the knowing the problems and difficulties that faces the strategic media planning. The importance of this study came from the importance of the strategic media planning in setting the polices, strategies and plans that enables the television as a media mean to achieve the goals and visions. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach with an analytical style in order to reach solutions of research's problem that represented in the main question: what is the reflections of the strategic media planning on television on message at sudania 24 channel? The researcher intended to choose purposeful sample from the population we presented in the researcher conducted interviews of research , the researcher conducted interviews with concerned experts to collect information's in addition to the books , resources and previous studies. The study contained four chapters, first chapter includes the methodological from work, the second and third chapter includes theoretical from work while the fourth chapter includes field study. And have reached serial results the most important of which are: the strategic Witten plans for media do not express adequate about the present and the future, the absence of a mechanism related the strategic media plans for country with media institutions, political instability effects on implementation of the plan prepared before by the government. the researcher came up with several recommendations the most important of which are: the necessity of the state to pay attention to the strategic planning of the media institutions of setting strategic plans with a long extend of the media organizations , and the media institutions represented by satellite channels should accompany the strategic plan when planning and producing the program.
