Abstract: The Aim of the research is to identify the Relationship between behavioral and Emotional Disorders and self-esteem of children in Accommodation. The researcher followed the correlational descriptive approach, and the sample of the research reached (56) children and girls from shelter institutions in Khartoum state, whose ages range between (16-12) years. The researcher used the behavioral and emotional disorders scale, and the self-esteem scale prepared by the researcher, and she analyzed the data through the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program using the following methods: Pearson correlation coefficient, half segmentation coefficient, Fakronbach coefficient, (T) test for a community and one, (T) test for two unequal samples, the one-way analysis of variance test. The following results were reached: Behavioral and emotional disorders are characterized, within their dimensions, aggression, anxiety, depression, and hyperactivity among children in Accommodation, and the self-esteem of children in Accommodation is characterized by high, and there is an inverse correlation. Between behavioral and emotional disorders and self-esteem of children in Accommodation There are statistically significant differences in behavioral and emotional disorders and according to the gender variable in favor of females, and there are no statistically significant differences in behavioral and emotional disorders within dimensions (aggression, anxiety, and increased activity) according to the variable of age, Except after depression, there are differences in favor of age (12 years), and there are no statistically significant differences in behavioral and emotional disorders in the class level variable, and at the conclusion of the research the researcher made a number of recommendations, the most important of which are:Work on the establishment of more houses for children within the state of Khartoum, and to prepare and qualify them psychologically and academically in order to be able to play the desired role and achieve the goal.
