Name: Taqwa El-Tiganey Musa. Title: Sudanese press Trends in addressing the issue of Abyei: a descriptive analytical study on application of ( Alintibaha and Al-Rayi Al-Aam) newspapers, in the period of 2009 – 2010 AD.

The study research over the treatment of the Abyei issue in the Sudanese press, so that through the content analysis of newspapers in Al-Rayi Al-Aam and Alintibaha addressed the issue of Abyei. The study aimed to: 1 - To identify the Sudanese press trends in addressing the issue of Abyei, and the study of the problem a scientific study. 2 – In- depth knowledge of Sudanese newspapers trends in addressed to the cause and how it look objectivity. The research used a descriptive approach depending on the style (survey content) for collocation the raw data related to research the researcher used the tool content analysis as an essential tool to used interview and observation as the help tools . The study contain on the four chapters, the first chapter is for the methodological, framework while the second chapter contain of Sudanese press and the third chapter dealt with the issue of Abyei. The fourth chapter was devoted to the field study related to the analysis of the content of newspapers in Al-Rayi Al-Aam and Alintibaha. The research found a number of results: 1 - Sudanese newspapers took more interest in the issue of Abyei is the largest in the period, which coincided with the secession of southern Sudan from northern Sudan. 2 - newspapers dealt with the issue objectively and impartially through processing newsletter. 3 - The results showed that the Sudanese newspapers nature news in dealing with political issues, and did not pay attention to the analysis of opinion articles and mentions the figure was very weak compared to the treatment (news reporting).
