Abstract:
The book deals with what happened to women including, in-justice; insufficient rights, chances of decent life, such as their right education, work, and equality.
The aforementioned pushed many associations and women's organizations to make change and a number of women's associations which called for' changing' many of the negative processes such as circumcision, rape, right to own of lands, lack of education and working in government positions.
It stated the impact of government parties on organizations and associations affairs, it compared the period of Pre and Post-Independence in all aspects.
It discusses the great efforts of the organizations to make clear to all possible and available ways that lead women to gain independence and not to live under the umbrella of men.
This mobilization and strong determination of Uganda women's, got some of what they want and occupy the leading position of state by settlement of political climate.
It also reveals the tasks of organizations and association
in health, adult learning, general household culture, and other
issues of women.
It gives explanations for the future of the women's associations.
