Abstract

The topic of this research is (Al-Khudari and his position towards the grammarians in his book (Al- Hashia) the footnote on Ibn Aqueel of Alfiat Ibn Malik) the study aims to define the character of Al- Khudari, stand on his sources in his book, (Al –Hashia), identify his methodology, his evidences, be acquainted about the morphological and grammatical issues, which agreed with the grammarian or disagreed, find out his redresses , on them , and learn about the grammatical sources that relied upon, his grammatical doctrine, and his position towards the other grammatical schools. The researcher used the descriptive method as an analyzing and inductive tool. The nature of the research requires that it should be divided into seven chapters. The first chapter dealt with the research basis. The second chapter sheds light on the previous studies. The third chapter was talking about the definition of Ibn Malik, Ibn Agueel, and Al-Khudari, which divided into four enquires. The fourth chapter was concerned with the grammatical method of Al- Khudari in his book (Al-Hashia). The fifth chapter talked about Al-Khudari position towards Ibn Malik and Ibn Aqueel, and devided it into two enquires. Then followed by the sixth chapter that discussed about Al-Khudari position of the grammatical assets that he relied upon into two enquiries. The seventh chapter discussed about Al-Khudari doctrine, and his position towards grammatical doctrines, and was divided into six enquiries. The researcher concluded to a number of results the most important of which: Al- Khudari distinguished with some grammatical terms, but he was not agreed with everything that was brought by the grammarians, but he disagreed sometimes, and corrects them another time, He cited the Holy us Koranic verses frequently, Arab poetry his tack of quoting with the Holy prophetic Hadith, and Arab proverb , and he was able to poetize. He did not belong to any clear grammatical doctrine; he relied upon the grammatical assets, such as audition, measurement, annex, and reasoning. The researcher recommended to concern about these kinds of studies, because of what available from linguistics, and great literary benefit. The researcher must turn to study and research in the scientific heritage of this honorable scholar.
