أثر اتفاقية الكوميسا على الأمن الغذائي في منطقة شرق وجنوب أفريقيا : دراسة حالة السودان 1994-2015م

Abstract

This research aims to show light on the impact of the COMESA agreement on food security in Sudan since the composition of 1994 -2015 with a focus on (2001-2015) and knowledge of scientific methods and modern technologies that are used in agriculture, which leads to achieving food security and reducing poverty . COMESA countries to achieve the goals desired, and to find solutions and ways out of the food problems in the COMESA countries through the exchange of food (cereals and food products), commercial and experiences between countries and the research problem about join Sudan to COMESA and its impact on food security in Sudan. The approach taken by the researcher historical method and the descriptive and researcher obtained the information from the Central Bank of Sudan and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and the COMESA court in Khartoum. The research has many hypothesis which gave many results. The study reached the following conclusions: 1. Adopts Sudan and COMESA exports of raw materials, which is the major cause of failure to achieve the goals of the bloc and the low volume of trade exchange between the countries 2. Lack of offices in COMESA countries to promote all Sudanese products 3. Work Convention to reduce the burden of living and increase the welfare of the Member States to import goods tariff preferences or duty-free. The most important recommendations to encourage the establishment of COMESA agricultural development projects and investment and increase trade volume of COMESA.
