This research aims to identify the reality of the impact of modern administrative communication in enhancing the skills of institutional performance in the applied study on the Open University of Sudan and National University through the recognition of the viewpoint of the employees and students in them.
The research was divided into an introduction and five chapters. The introduction includes the basics of research which dealt with the problem of research, objectives, the importance of scientific and practical research, hypotheses, research model and research limits. The first chapter includes the previous studies in the first research, and comment on the previous studies in the second. The third topic deals with search terms. Chapter II: Modern Administrative Communication The third chapter consisted of four topics, entitled Enhancing communication skills and their impact on the development of institutional performance
The importance of the research stems from the development innovated in the administrative and technological aspects, as these aspects lead to raise and upgrade the personnel competence and efficiency as well as to the development of institution which represent the most important strategic objectives for public institutions. The researcher has particularly tackled the effect of the modern administrative communications on the development, advancement and sustainment of institutional communication in the organizations by focusing on the case study (the Open University of Sudan and the Sudan National University), to review the nature of the development of the administrative communication prevailing currently in the present administrative organizations of the Higher Education, and the future vision in the long run, aiming at developing and modernizing the institution by developing the communicating process by means of scientific researches.
The problem of the research is represented in recognizing the status of the administrative communication in the Open University of Sudan and the Sudan National University from the point of view of their staff members and students, however, the researcher decided to formulate the problem in the following main query:
What is the effect of the modern administrative communications and their role in sustaining the institutional communication skills? However, there are many other questions ramify from this main question.
The hypotheses of the research are based on existence of positive relationship between the modern administrative communications and the effective administrative performance in the institutions internally and externally. Likewise, there is a positive relationship between the use and employment of the electronic administration technology in the process of administrative communications and overcoming of the communication barriers; also, there is a positive relationship between the employment of technologies of (electronic administration) in the process of administrative communications and overcoming of communication barriers.
The research adopted the historical and the analytic descriptive methods, the study stylistic, the questionnaire and the interview which is based on the collection, analysis and the presentation of scientific material thereafter formulating comments on them through the results to be reached from part related to the field study.
The research has concluded a number of findings which proved its hypotheses that there is a positive relationship between the availability of the modern administrative communications and the backward of the level of technology used in communications at the institutions. And there is a positive relationship between the modern administrative communications and the capability of institutions to compete and quality of the rendered services.
The results proved the hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between the modern administrative communications and the effective administrative performance of institutions internally and externally. Also, the results of the study proved there is a positive relationship between the use of electronic administrative technologies in the process of administrative communications and overcoming the communication barriers.
The research has come out with many recommendations the most important of which are as follows: the contribution in the preparation of the trained human cadres to fill the positions requires the use of the communication technologies at various universities/higher education institutions. Also, due attention should be paid to a long term strategic planning taking into account the accelerating technological development and changes. Also, the use of social media tools as an electronic administrative technology positively will play an effective role in the administrative development by bridging the communication gap between the various departments of the institution and the students in order to exchange information and the knowledge. |
