The study aimed to identify the health of the environment and its effect in the Sudanese economy and took the locality of Khartoum as the case study.
The researcher explored institutions and personalities related to environmental sanitation and private research centers and was able to collect an extensive data of environmental sanitation and its concepts.
Then the researcher cited some economic concepts related to environmental sanitation. The researcher used the observation tool and the corresponding tool to collect the study data.
The study assumed the correlation between the environment and the economy and conducted the necessary analyzes in this regard, but it proved contrary to the hypothesis that there is a positive effect between economic development and environmental sanitation, through studies and publications found that there is an inverse relationship between economic development and environmental sanitation.
Especially in the field of industry and environmental sanitation, the more the industry develops and the economy progresses, the more polluted the environment will become On the other hand, the study went on to study the relationship between solid waste and the economy. The study did not ignore the other types of contaminants and their relation to the economy. The basic relationship is that all the waste and sources of pollution are caused by economic activities
At the end of the research, the researcher cited a number of conclusions and recommendations, including that the society affects its daily behavior in the surrounding environment and also affects it as the environment is affected by the secretions of some economic activities associated with institutions or economic units.
Among the important recommendations are the need for coordination between the various actors in environmental sanitation and the development of shared visions and coordinated programs that are not conflicting or isolated from one another and from addressing the negative economic effects that can push the environment forward. |
