dc.description.abstract This study aimed to identify the reasons for the difficulties of teaching and learning Arabic language in the Arabic private high schools in Djibouti, and to provide the necessary solutions for them, and sought to improve and develop the teaching in these schools. The researcher aims to contribute to the enrichment of scientific research in the teaching of Arabic language and the learning in Arabic private schools in Djibouti, and to develop a proposed vision to address the shortcomings in the teaching and learning of the Arabic language in these schools. In this study, the researcher followed the descriptive approach. This is why he used the following tools to conduct the field study: 1. The questionnaire of Arabic teachers in these schools. 2. The questionnaire for the Arabic language students in these schools. 3. The personal interview of the directors of the private schools and VIPs Scientific research in the country. 4. General observation during field study in Arabic private schools in Djibouti. The study was conducted in a society composed of teachers, teachers and students of Arabic language in the Arabic private schools in Djibouti. The researcher chose a random sample of them to conduct this study. Statistical analysis was also used to analyze teachers questionnaire and to identify students as well . After conducting this field study, the researcher found the following results: 1. Curriculum in the Arabic private schools in Djibouti is curricula that are not appropriate to the level of students and do not take into account the individual differences between them. 2. Most of the teachers in the Arabic private schools in Djibouti Are qualified to teach Arabic ; they use the grammar method translation and intermediate language in their teaching. 3. The educational environment does not help students learn Arabic in the Arabic private schools in Djibouti. Therefore, the researcher recommends the following: 1. Educational institutions and those responsible should develop curricula currently used in Arabic private schools on Djibouti. 2. Rehabilitation of teachers of Arabic language in the Arab private schools in Djibouti, and training them in the use of modern methods in teaching Arabic. 3. Attention to the general appearance of the school environment; because of its positive impact….. towards the psychology of the learner and the teacher en_US
