Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the role of voluntary organizations by applying concepts in the management of the organization and its role in reducing the effects of health disasters during floods and floods.
The study concludes that the flood disaster is a threat to the residential and agricultural areas and service facilities in the valleys and streams of natural flow, where rainwater descends from the high mountains and highlands to the low lands through the valleys,
This is compounded by the human factors of obstructing the natural course of the flood, such as the construction of small dams in the valley basin, in order to reserve water for the irrigation, leading to the water reaching and destroying the villages. Floods in these valleys guide spread of epidemics and diseases such as malaria, diarrhea, respiratory diseases and a large number of diseases caused by environmental degradation.
