dc.description.abstract The subject of this research is describing in details this ritual as a pillar of each of the three divine religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam; envisaging the concepts related to it; and over viewing the origins and historical phases of jurisprudence in each of the three religions. The researcher has divided his research into the following parts: - An introduction explaining the nature of this ritual. - Five chapters including: - Practical details of pilgrimage in Judaism, in Christianity and amongst pre-Islam Era's Arabs, and in Islam. - Comparison depicting aspects of agreement and disagreement. Conclusion: where the important results are stated. These can be summarized in a capsule as follows: All the three divine religions agree on the nature and definition of pilgrimage as an obligatory practice of worship including actions and recitation at specific places and times; but they differ on the details. Their agreement shows behind any doubt that the true origin of these three religions is one and the same. And if so, why not come together to combat the propagators of atheism and corruption? en_US
