Abstract

Praise be to God through His grace every good deeds is accomplished through His capability appears darkness changes to day light and through His generosity for me complete this research.

In this work entitled “The impact of divorce increment phenomenon in the marriage life" (Doctrinal field study in Zanzibar) ” the researcher has attempted to deal with various topics which fall under the following divisions: Introduction, Preface, five chapters and the conclusion

The Introduction consists of the following essential issues relating to the research: Importance of the topic, Reasons for selecting the topic, Objectives of the research, Statement of the problem, Scope of the study and Literature review.

Chapter one: In the first chapter the researcher has resumed and clarifies location geographical of Zanzibar and population, the entry of Islam in Zanzibar, the status of religious, social, cultural and political situation of Zanzibar.

Chapter two: In the second chapter, researcher elaborates on divorce, its legitimacy, types and judicial distinction and scholar's school of thoughts on this subject. He also elaborates the definition of divorce, legitimacy, provision and wisdom of legislation, the words of divorce, types and judicial separation.

Chapter three: In the third chapter entitled: "the negative impacts of the increase of divorce in a marriage life", dealing with origin of divorce in Islamic law, the negative impact of upbringing and social life in increase of divorce in the marriage life.
