dc.description.abstract A field study was carried out in the year 2015. The main focus of the study was on the role of IGRA channel in the spread of Islamic culture in Khartoum state. Sample from the teaching staff of five Sudanese universities in the state were chosen. These universities are Omdurman Islamic university, Sudan University of science and technology, University of Holly Quran and Islamic sciences, the National Ribat University and the International University of Africa. A hundred responded. This research aims at acknowledging the role of the channel in the spread of the Islamic culture and how it is accomplished. This is done when the communication services of the channel are subjected to a scientific study by adopting a comprehensive listing technique to analyze and evaluate the content and form of a sample of the cultural religious programs. A descriptive methodology as well as an analytical technique are used. The main objectives of the research are represented in the following: 1. Acknowledging the quality and nature of the cultural programs and the suitable forms for presentation. 2. Evaluating the content and form of the cultural programs, the target population, the language used besides the artistic form and style of presentation. 3. Acknowledging the link between the topics of the different cultural program. This research comprises three sections: 1. Methodological form. 2. Perceptive form. 3. Analytical field study. en_US
