Abstract

Abstract This research topic (policy of the Islamic Development Bank to support development projects in the State of Chad from 2004 to 2009) The researcher has used in the treatment of the subject; approaches (descriptive, analytical and statistical), the study aimed to demonstrate the role that can be done by the Islamic Development Bank in supporting development projects in Chad, through three chapters: Chapter I: in which he addressed the issue of economic development researcher, and a section of this chapter into three sections: the concept of economic development and constraints, development of the Islamic perspective, and concluded this chapter by talking about the concept of economic backwardness. The second chapter: the researcher talked about the features of the State of Chad, the Islamic Development Bank. It is divided into four sections: the definition of the State of Chad, the economic development of Chad, the Islamic Development Bank resources, the Islamic Bank for Development and financing formulas offered by its bank. Finally, Chapter III: which is devoted to study the policy and the efforts of the Islamic Development Bank to support development projects in Chad has been divided into four sections: the Bank's policy in support of development projects, as well as the development projects carried out by the Islamic Development Bank in Chad, and also the impact of projects on economic development in Chad, and seal assessment policy of the Islamic Development Bank in Chad. Also reached a researcher at the end of the study results and recommendations; One of the main results reached by the researcher are: that development projects undertaken by the World Bank in Chad contributed to economic development in Chad, and also the absence of Islamic banks in the arena of Chad. The study made a number of recommendations, Of the most important of these recommendations: Urge the Islamic Bank to increase its contribution to the financing of new projects contribute to achieving greater development, as proposed by the researcher establish a bank based on the foundations of Islamic law in Chad so that the contribution of the Islamic Bank which is not less than 50%.
