Abstract
This study address the issue of the role of health services management in achieving satisfaction of the employees in Armed Forces. As case study (employees of the armed forces) in Omdurman, the researcher coined research's problem in number of questions: What is the nature, the quality, and size of the health and therapeutic services provided by the Department concerned with this aspect of the Armed Forces? What is the level of efficiency offered and the level of satisfaction among employees of the Armed Forces on the health services and treatment they receive? What are the problems facing the management of health and therapeutic services in the Armed Forces ?
The study aimed to understand the importance of social services in stabilizing the staff of the Armed Forces, to identify the size, quality of health and therapeutic services offered by the Armed Forces for its employees and stand on their effectiveness to achieve the satisfaction of those employees.
The importance of the study for scientific research is to explore the field of health services management and to come out with results of the search service organizations working in the health field in general and the institution involved in the management of health and therapeutic services in the Sudanese Armed Forces in particular.
The researcher used the historical and descriptive analytical method to conduct the study, and target group analysis and field work data by random probability sample of the study population, which amounted to 8 thousand people, the researcher has to choose a representative sample of 5% of the study population represents.
The study found out some of the most important results:
1\ Provision of most the needs of drugs for patients inside the hospital pharmacies.
2\ Dissatisfaction of the majority of officers from treatment services management efficiency and, lack of medical disciplines.
The study came out the following recommendations:
1- The need to contract Solidarity Fund with more hospitals to provide services for employees and their families according to there places of residence.
2- Accommodate general medicinal doctors, specialists and technical cadres to fill the shortage in some areas.
