This study aimed to identify the role of computer in the teaching of mathematics in the third stage of basic education in Khartoum state, the researcher followed the descriptive approach in the study and the appropriateness of this kind of studies, the researcher used the questionnaire as a tool to collect the data needed to conduct the study .
Research community consists of teachers for basic education in Khartoum state chose researcher of the study sample of (50) teachers from the mathematics teachers from schools for basic education locality Khartoum – unit Khartoum east and it has chosen away that simple random sample of place they study . were used researcher frequencies and percentages in the analysis of statistical data.
The study found some results which the researcher hopes to contribute to the problems by using computer processors in the teaching of mathematics in basic education, including the man reclose of this reason are :
1. Computer the importance of teaching mathematics basic stage.
2. The role of computer and high potential in the teaching of mathematics in basic education.
3. There are problems hindering the use of computers in education in general and mathematics.
In light of the findings, the study recommends the following:
1. Attention should be given to use the computer as a means and method of teaching in the foundation stage school in general. and the teaching of mathematics in particular.
2. Must be made aware of the importance of community computer and its effective role in the development and capacity building in all areas.
3. Work on the training of teachers in basic on use of computers in teaching and prepare them to them to keep pace with the technological development in the field of education. |
