Abstract:
This study aims to identify learners’ attitude in adult education classes and its relationship to professional performance in Ministry of Education in Khartoum state, in addition to identification of learners’ attitudes in terms of gender (male and female) - towards teaching and learning process as well as identification of adult learners’ professional performance improvement. The research sample composes of fifty students in adults’ education class and twenty experts in field of adult education. The researcher conducted a questionnaire to measure learners’ attitude toward education and other questionnaire for experts in field of adult education to measure leaners’ attitude toward learning process in addition to identification of professional performance elicited out of professional performance reports, for workers who study in adult education classes. After information collection, data is canalized through statistical package for Social Sciences SPSS.
The study concluded to the following findings among which are: Adult education learners have positive attitudes towards education. In addition, learners’ professional performance has improved. The Study highlighted some recommendations including: Adult education curricula needs planning to meet learners’ needs.
