Abstract:
This paper deals with the role of the world food program in confronting the humanitarian situation in Sudan in the period 2014-2018(White Nile State case study).
As well as the history of the world food program in the Sudan , humanitarian conditions , history, concepts, causes and phenomena, the size of the world food program in the state , as well as other organizations and their roles , the use of inductive method research in the study .
The research concluded that the food gap in Sudan has been frequent as result of disasters of environmental degradation and conflict, and disaster crises in Sudan have gone beyond domestic coping capabilities there is insufficient food aid provided to the affected parties , which necessitated the intervention of international organization and the state , despite the amount of humanitarian a assistance provided by the world food program, but the crisis , including the food aspect in Sudan has not been resolved in full.
