Abstract

The four chapters of this study deals with the problem of extended asylum in Eastern Sudan and its effect on the national security. The researcher used descriptive analytical method to carry out the study. The first chapter includes the concept of asylum, extended asylum, refugee and the hosting country in addition to some definitions, background, resources and dangerous crime that threaten the national security. Whereas the second chapter deals with extended asylum in Sudan, its effects, reasons, the country polities toward it, and what the country offer in handling the problems of resort and refugees in particular the Eritrean refugees in Sudan. It also includes descriptive picture to the models of Wadshareefy camp, Um gargoor, as well as towns' refugees in Port Sudan, Kashm Algerba and other camps. As for the third chapter concern with the effect of stable resort on the national security which represented in Wadshareefy camp as survey of the study and some general knowledge about resort, its effect, the historical background of the area and the camp, the economical problems of illegal immigration, mankind smuggling and the effect of resort socially, economically, politically and healthy. As well as information about the hosting society, the available services, strategies of rearranging the structure of the state in addition to the negative effect of stable resort and its threats in governing refugees' camp. The fourth chapter includes the main findings, recommendations, conclusion, and list of references and appendixes.
