Abstract

This research is written by IBRAHIM KABIR SALGA. The tittle of this research is about the history of social and economic activities of Kano state from 1911 to 1950 (AD) This research is made up of social and economic activities of Kano state through studying the life style of people of Kano state. From the creation and existence of Kano state in 1950 (AD) economic research and other activities have been the same. This research has been deriving from the Islamic historical compilation of Kano state. This is a little enhancement to the historical knowledge, most especially in the aspect of social- economical activities of the people. THE FOLLOWING ARE NUMBERS OF PROPOSAL QUESTIONS IN TRYING TO ANSWER THEM:  Indeed Islam has contributed immensely to the social life style of the people.  Although with the existence of Islamic teachings people enjoin in the corrupt on evil activities.  Even with the existence of Islamic rules and regulations comes to the distractions and going against by the colonizers.  Even though, Islamic still gain gradual empowerment of its social-economical ways. THE BASIC MATERIAL  The result of this research leads to the social, economic,political,religious,cultural and social co-existence of the people. FOR THIS RESEARCH FALLS UNDER SIX MAIN SECTIONS AS FOLLOWS:  Kano state is being differentiated from its other boundary states as a commercial centre.  The research is more of advising in the aspect of social and economic activities.  This should be done under precise reasonable source of the documentations that have been written or heard from a real reasonable source.
