Abstract:
This research aims to know the role of television educational
program in supporting the scientific knowledge for the high secondary School student Khartoum province applied study on the lesson program in Sudan national television in the period of 2007-2008.
The researcher in this research followed the analytical description method which depends on the analysis, interpretation and deduction .
The original society for this study was represented, from the secondary school’s teachers in Khartoum province and students of third class in Khartoum province.
The number of teachers and students were selected by the simple randomized method where the number the selected sarnp1ewas 60 teachers and the number of the students was120 from different schools in Khartoum province.
The researcher used the five dimensions questionnaire as a tool to collect the information .The study data was processed by the statistical method by SPSS.
The researcher concluded to the following results:
1. The students who follow the television lessons are more successful than those who do not follow the television lessons.
2. The time of the educational periods in TV for the students is not enough.
3. The educational TV. Participate positively in increasing the knowledge and information for the student.
4. Educational TV encourages students to study .
