Abstract

This research discusses and analyses the role of climate on transport in Republic of Chad which contributes in development fields and economic planning and prolong the bridges with neighbor countries and attempt to understand effective climatic clements on transport, to repel its risks The research has employed a descriptive analytical approach for data by using statistic methods. Research included fives chapters as follow: 1. First chapter includes problem of research, importance and purposes of research and literature review. 2. Second chapter discusses natural and human properties of Chad’s geography. 3. Third chapter concerned with effect of climate on land transport in Chad includes land transport in Chad, and the effective climatic forms as floods, and dust storms which block view, of land transport. 4. Fourth chapter discusses effect of climate on air traffic in Chad air climate risks which affect aviation and attempts to fight flying risks. 5. Fifth chapter discusses the effect of climate on water transport in Chad. 6. Research concluded by important results and recommendations and future developments to different means of transport in Chad.
