| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study was to evaluate the syllabus of the Holy Quran for the third grade secondary by knowing the views of the teachers and supervisors of this subject about the syllabus, its objectives, its tile and the means and ways of teaching. The researcher used the descriptive method for data acquisition and analysis and also used the questionnaire as a tool to collect information. Some of the most important findings of the researcher are the following: 1- The syllabus is interconnected and suitable for third-grade students and gives them many of the values and teachings to ensure religious upbringing. 2- The content works on the consolidation of religious concepts of the students and helps them develop their skills and achieve the desired goals. 3- The learning tool saves time and helps the student gain experience and raises their motivation and drives them to the educational process. 4- The use of teaching methods that agree with the natures of the students and suit their interests and stages of development helps in educating the students and benefiting from the studied subject for achieving the desired practical application. 5- That the evaluation by tests is a sound way and gives the correct results. 6- The process of evaluation at the end of the school year is not a measure of the level of the students. At the end of the research the researcher recommended the following: 1- The teachers of the Holy Quran at secondary schools should be the role model of the students. 2- The teachers should each the syllabus of the Holy Koran as values to be acquired by the students so as to become a behavior in their lives not as a subject for making grades. 3- The educational institutions should be committed to the syllabus of the Holy Quran as a base for educational work. 4- The secondary school teachers should activate the religious association because of their role in the education of the students and instilling values in them and teaching them the moral courage and helping them to form their personalities and strengthen the spiritual and dogmatic aspects for graduating strong individuals in faith, acting and interacting. | en_US |
