Abstract:
This study reviewed the role of voluntary organizations in enable women environmentally, a case study of the Nature Organization for Development and Environmental Protection, in the period from 2016 up to 2019, this study aims to know the organization’s contribution to how women benefit from their environment in alleviating poverty and enabling them environmentally and economically, learn about the organization's efforts to strengthen women's environmental empowerment and upgrade the level of environmental behavior.
Descriptive analytical method was used, in addition to using the SPSS statistical analysis program for the field study analysis, and the questionnaire was also used as a tool to collect information.
The most important results of this study are as follows: enabling women environmentally is the responsibility of any society, and they should take care of them and provide all the means that help in spreading environmental awareness to all people and in all societies. Also, women are an important element in the field of the environment and they have a great awareness that enables them to take advantage of its resources.
The study concluded with a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: interest in women's charitable organizations that lead to the development and promotion of society, designing training programs to increase women's confidence and administrative capabilities in order to be able to different environmental, economic, social and political fields.
