Abstract

Republic of Sudan Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Al-Nilain University College of Graduate Studies Faculty of Arts - Library and Information Department Thesis Title: Evaluation of Electronic Information Services at the Library of International University of Africa. Prepared by the student: Aazah Abdullah Ahmed Naji Supervised by: Dr. Abdel Bagi Younis Ismail Degree: Master. The academic year: 2019. The study aims to find out the situation of the electronic information services in the library of the International University of Africa and to know the devices and techniques used in providing these services, also to examine the level of manpower, the evaluation of electronic information services and the extent to which they meet the needs of the beneficiaries as well as the problems facing the provision of electronic information services. The study adopted many of methods, including the historical, case study, and used questionnaire, observation and interviews as the tools for data collection. The main results of this study is as follows: Arabic language is more preferred used language among beneficiaries and they also are fully aware of the used Interned , that service provided to them free of charge, and that there is a high degree of satisfaction to the beneficiaries of the service provided in the library. The study recommended that must to encouraging beneficiaries to learn foreign languages, using new information services to meet the needs of the beneficiaries, increase library time, increase the number of computers and increase the number of library staff, also must to participate in local and international databases and increase the budget provided to the library.
