Abstract:
To write an academic research on education in Hadramout difficult things and this has made the researcher has a lot of access to references and sources that relate to this subject, which made the researcher also to check the statistics obtained from schools, teachers and students, which made the way to obtain information is very difficult.
The main objective of this study is to present a study on education in Hadramout in the period 1946-1967 and to show the promotion of education in addition to presenting a historical and documentary study of social and cultural issues in Hadramout, as well as the link between education and the renaissance of peoples in that region.
The researcher used the descriptive and historical analysis method which relies on the documents, sources and references related to education in Hadramout. Therefore, the researcher supports this academic study in many sources, the most important of which are the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, (peace be upon him), and various documents on the history of education in Hadramout, also books relate to Arab and Islamic history, Arabic books, newspapers, magazines and interviews, which contribute to support this study with a Scientific Documents at all stages of this study.
The historical period between 1946 and 1967 is one of the important periods in the history of Hadramout in all political, economic, social and cultural aspects, therefore, the researcher is trying to prepare a comprehensive academic study on education in Hadramout between 1946-1967 and presents aspects of the development and spread of education in Hadramout the areas of strength between two Sultanate of Quetta and al-Qaytiyah
promotion in the field of education in Hadhramaut is continuing in all its regions, whether in the period 1946-1967 or beyond, until this writing. Therefore, the Department of Education in Hadhramout must periodically develop time programs for teachers in the Hadramout area in the field of courses in the classrooms.
