Abstract:
Investment in the general sense is an attempt to take advantage of the elements of production available in the community in order to achieve profits and benefits of the level of individuals and society and achieve economic development at the level of host countries and continuous .The study aim to identify the economic impact of foreign investments in Sudan and study investment laws and its role in increasing the volume of investments in addition to the positive and negative roles with reference to know the problems associated with foreign investments in Sudan and the extent of the contribution of Kenana Sugar Company in the development of investment in Sudan as a model for foreign direct investment in Sudan. The researcher used descriptive analysis method in addition to the historical method. The most important result is weak infrastructure in the agricultural sector in Sudan, and its direct impact on the lack of foreign investment and the absence of security stability and transparency, and the multiplicity of devices dealt with by the investor, the problem of investment in Sudan is an administrative and willing. the researcher recommended the use of industrial statistics and rehabilitation and development of industrial zones as well as reduce the size of taxes on production and the development of customs and tax lists, work on solving administrative and willing problems in the Sudanese society by employing the employment system according to the efficiency of economic and human resources.
