dc.description.abstract This research aims to identify the use of computer in the teaching of Tajweed for the eighth grade students in the basic stage, and to identify the effectiveness of the computer in the teaching of material and to reveal the methods of teaching material, and the contribution of computer in the development of students' skills, as well as to identify the level of motivation among students when using computer in teaching . The researcher used the experimental method: The research sample consists of four classes from Al-Qabas schools, two electronic and traditional girls classes: Fatima electronic classroom and Khawla classical classroom, two boys class: electronic algorithm class and traditional Qurtubi class. He conducted a pre-test and a post-test, and designed a computer programmed material consisting of ten lessons from the subject of Tajweed, the book of the Koran and Tajweed for the eighth grade stage foundation. After statistical processing, the researcher reached the following results: 1. There are no statistically significant differences in pretest scores between the experimental and control groups. 2. There are statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-test scores of the experimental group in favor of the post-test. 3. There are statistically significant differences in post test scores between the two groups in favor of the experimental group. 4. There are no statistically significant differences due to gender. It was also recommended that: 1. Training learners to deal with educational media and modern techniques. 2. Training teachers on how to instill the principles of good listening and sound pronunciation and that the teacher be a good example in that. 3. The importance of holding training courses for teachers in how to deal with the computer before and during the service. en_US
