Abstract:
Quantitative methods are considered in the current era as one of the most important achievements in the field of administrative work, drawing on a range of methods of ways to measure the expected benefits of the project, which aims to provide a integrated and reliable in time for all recipients of management information systems in general , for it provides the Organization precision and certainty in making administrative decisions and measure their effectiveness in achieving the desired objectives, and would bring the efficiency of its overall performance.
This study aims to show the role and importance of quantitative methods in the process of decision making as a basis to illustrate the problem in quantitative consideration. And to identify ways and quantitative methods, and ways to use it in making decisions. and highlight its advantages and benefits that go back to the organization.
The study led to conclusions which the most important are: The existence of a positive relationship between specialization and knowledge of methods and quantitative models and between the chances of success of the administration to make the right decision. The use of quantitative methods provided policy makers with a specific database. Relationship exists between the provision of financial statements and the effectiveness of the use of quantitative methods in the organization. There is also a link between the availability of computers and the effectiveness of the use of quantitative methods in the organization. And there is also a relationship between the orientations of the upper administration and the application of quantitative methods to the organization.
The study concluded that the most important recommendations are: Fostering quantitative methods in the management information system to increase the speed, accuracy and efficiency of decisions that have based on their results. Opting to raise awareness of the importance and benefits of the use of quantitative methods to assist in decision making, through the organization of seminars, conferences and open meetings between academics and policy makers in the organization. Condensation in training sessions and learning, and regularly, to increase the efficiency of decision-makers to improve their knowledge of quantitative methods and information systems based on the computer, which knows a rapid and continuous evolution , and devote it to produce more effective decisions to achieve the strategic objectives of the organization.
