Abstract

This research dealt with the topic of satellite channels and their repercussions on the Republic of Guinea culture of society by applying to (R T G) the official channel of the state, with an analysis of a sample of the programs of the cultural channel that is the program of the series (L'ombre du mensonge). That It included four chapters, and a conclusion, in addition to the appendices. The first chapter dealt with the methodological scope of the study, while the second chapter detailed the talk about satellite channels in terms of definition and origin, features and functions, while the third chapter dealt with a brief definition of the Republic of Guinea satellite channels and its origin, With the definition of culture and its types, then talk about the culture of Guinean society, and the role of satellite channels in protecting and disseminating it, and in the fourth chapter the field study was conducted. The researcher used the descriptive approach and the content analysis, as well as the questionnaire, interview, and observation as simple tools for collecting information and data related to the field study. The research aimed to show the ambit of the impact of the satellite channels on the culture of Guinean society, especially through the programs of foreign serials broadcast by RTG and other local TV channels, and to highlight its media role in protecting and spreading the culture of Guinean society, while identifying what cultural programs are in the channel Its quality, suitability and inclusiveness are Guinean society's culture and its national dialects. The researcher reached a set of results, the most important of which is that the RTG channel is restricted in interest in the national culture, and that its cultural programs are compatible with the culture of the Guinean community, and helps to protect and spread it in a wide range, and also serves the national languages, but it does not enjoy high quality, and does not include The culture of all Guinean tribes, and that the programs of its foreign series have a reflection on the culture of Guinean society, as the results of the research indicated that the serie (L'ombre du mensonge) has a reflection on the viewer's culture and its social values through many aspects, such as the topics and ideas contained in the series, with advertisements And syllables Shield them displayed through it, and the foreign language used as well as the influence of personalities and characters of the actors on the culture of the Guinean society, and published for foreign culture and language in the community. The researcher put forward a number of recommendations, including redoubling efforts from the RTG channel in caring for cultural programs by expanding its circle to cover all bit of society, and raising its quality to satiate the desires of viewers, and the need to conduct media research to know the needs of the public and meet them, and to view aspects of the channel’s deficiency according to opinions Viewers, with the coordination of a strong relationship between the channel and the men of culture to prepare and present cultural programs commensurate with the Guinean community, and a servant of its various popular cultures and legacies, as well as reviewing the series' programs broadcast by the channel, by not broadcasting foreign serials that are not related to trust Community, and the tendency to prepare and broadcast media material from local films and series expressing national identity and culture, while weakening efforts, expanding the circle of interest in the national languages of the channel, and providing an opportunity to obtain channel information in front of researchers.
