dc.description.abstract The researcher has observed during the period of his study that the curriculum of the Institute of Arabic language of the International University of Africa does not contain Qur’an studies as a subject even though the Qur’an is the source of correct Arabic language. And that is the focal point (Topic) of this research project: ‘’ the stories of the Qur’an and its role in the listening and reading skills development of non- native Arabic speakers’’ Objectives: The researcher aims: 1- To define the role of the Qur’an stories in the development of the listening and reading skills of non- native Arabic speakers. 2- To prove that the inclusion of Qur’an stories in the curriculum will be a very good method that would lead to the initiation and development of effective or quality reading and listening skills of non- native Arabic speakers as well as good method for child training doe to its values norms. The researcher depended on analytical description method questionnaire and interviewing, to gather his information. Results: The researcher found out that: 1-The method of Qur’an stories has a big role in the learning Arabic language and the development of listening and reading skills in the study process of the language. 2- The application of Qur’an stories in the curriculum of the Arabic language has a deep effect on the personal being of the student due to its deeper meanings practical nature and training of souls in the behavior shaping of an individual. 3- It also helps in sowing a good spiritual religions and moral values - in the student- taught by the noble Qur’an. Recommendations: The necessity of the inclusion of the Qur’an stories, as well as the teaching of the holly Sunna of the prophet (s.a.w) in addition to the various different curriculum putting the both in consideration as the main sources in the field of education. en_US
