dc.description.abstract This study was conducted with a view to review some of the techniques used or benefit to get rid of the associated water with oil (oily waste water) by tracking the heavy elements after each stage of treatment which is done for that water, as this was done by taking advantage of the technology that was implemented by the Chinese company intheKhartoum refinery, which is located in Khartoum, 70 km away from the eastern side of the attahadyroad Atbara-Khartoum. Samples were taken after each stage of treatment that takes place in addition to the intermediate pond that some of the stages and external pond in which water is thrown after treatment and then to the laboratory and prepared and get the results, through the results obtained some unexpected elements were found and the disappearance of some the expected elements are low, the study concluded the importance of the accombining water treatment unit and its function in reducing the proportions of heavy elements, which indicate that the Khartoum refinery is one of the leading and environmental friendly refineries in the field of accombining water treatment, and also recommends this to study the need for further testing with a view to the water used in agriculture and also alert workers to the seriousness of the water wastewater and the processing units until they are benefitting from the water in a safe and environmental friendly way. en_US
