Abstract:
This study with the title: Content Analysis of Arabic Language Teaching Programs for Non Native Arabic Speakers - An Applied Study on the International University of Africa Series). This study aims to reveal the nature of the linguistic and cultural content in the series of the International University of Africa. The study tool
was a tool for analyzing the content of books used in Teaching the Arabic language;
Thus, the problem of this study can be formulated in the following question: What
is the nature of the linguistic and cultural content in the International University of
Africa Series?. Among the most important results from this study is that the third
book deals with the linguistic content with clarity and ease, in an appropriate order,
and in a simple way. The linguistic content was placed in the third book on the
scientific foundations by specialists. The nature of the cultural content is that the
Arab-Islamic culture is the most mentioned in the book, followed by the
international culture, and the local culture. The cultural content in the third book is
not appropriate to the level of students due to the difficulty of vocabulary and
topics, and the way culture is presented, such as: Islamic banking, murabahah,
mudarabah and musharakah. And the nature of the linguistic content in a book can
be described as having skills received equal terms of presentation, and it focused
on the elements of vocabulary and structures, and the book has added the taste of
rhetoric and literary texts.
