Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed at ascertaining the impact of the programmes of the special D`awa courses organized by the International University of Africa, and it’s educational effect on the targeted and their environment. This neceritated an encompassment of the nature of target persons and the kind of assessment applied. The study sample was chosen from the regular forces, learners, i.e. those affiliated to the armed forces, the police and the civil aviation, coming from the difference states of Sudan. The descriptive method was applied. Assorted tools were used, including a questionnaire answered by the learners, the high ranking commanders and officers, the NCOs and the troops; besides a visit interview card directed to the executives; interviews with the regular forces leaders; in addition to the researcher’s Observations, his close field follow-up and participation in planning these courses and his class teaching from the very beginning. For the purpose of data analysis, each course's questionnaire was reviewed and analysed aiming correlation tables for the Reponses, besides the chi2 to find the Reponses, statistical significance, with the purpose of ascertaining the: impact of the courses, programmers and their educational effect on the targeted persons and their environments, and also with the objective of referring these programmers. The factor analysis was also were to find the relations through comparing the three courses. The qualitative analysis was unreal, too, the percentage of the executives, interview card. The (SPSS) program was also to analyses the data and for statistical treatment. The most important results that the research came out with are as follows: 1. The programmes of the special D`awa courses accomplish impact, reflected in changing the learners, behavior and conceptions. 2. The courses programmes help the targets to develop their D`awa capacities. 3. the courses graduates play an effective role in the regular forces environment. 4. The courses programmes are in need of contentious reform and development. 5. There is statistically significant positive relation between the learners affiliated to the regular forces and the D`awa courses. The research arrived at a good number of recommendations and suggestions that can be summed up in the importance of the continuation of the courses, the necessity of introducing practical D`awa programmes, the significance of continuous evaluation with the purpose of development, the need for keeping the graduates in connection with the University, increasing the courses period, giving the outstanding graduates a chance for more advanced studies, the generalization of the courses to include under sectors, besides suggestions of future researches to be made in the same field.
