| dc.description.abstract | In accordance with the great role played by the Islamic education in the building of the Islamic society and based on the fact that Islamic education is the main actor in the formation of the Islamic faith and helps to prepare the Muslim individual for social life in all aspects of personality, humanity, mental, physical, social and psychological. The researcher dealt with this topic, entitled "Professional competencies of the teacher of the basic school and its role in achieving the objectives of Islamic education". The aims of the research is to identify the extent to which the teacher of the basic school is familiar with the objectives' competencies, to identify the competencies of planning and implementing the lessons, and to expose the competencies of the classroom management and furthermore to identify evaluation competencies. The researcher used the analytical descriptive approach as the research methodology and questionnaire as the tool to collect the data after verifying its validity and reliability. In the data analysis, the researcher used Cronbach Alfa to confirm the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, the arithmetic mean to point the direction of the scale items, and the standard deviations. Through data analysis and discussion of the tables, the researcher has reached the following important results:- 1) In order to achieve the goals of Islamic education, the teacher of the basic school has to possess the necessary professional competencies. 2) The research revealed that the teacher of the basic school has knowledge of the importance of professional competencies and their role in achieving the objectives of Islamic education. 3) The results also show that the teacher of the basic school is concerned with the competencies of the classroom management and its elements that enable him to manage the classroom accordingly and to deliver the lesson and learning materials to the students successfully as required. 4) Furthermore the results show, the teacher of the basic school possesses the competencies of the evaluation and assessment that help him to know to which extent has achieved the lesson objectives also understand the strength weakness of the pupil when delivering the lessons or learning materials. | en_US |
