Abstract
This research deal with the negative stereotypical image about the Arabic Islamic culture in terms of its reasons, components, forms, and correcting the negative image though the Arabic language teaching materials for the speakers of other languages .
The researcher followed the descriptive analytical method in this research, and used questionnaire and interview as tools for collecting information . based on these procedure, the researcher concluded to a number of findings among which the important ones are :
• There is negative stereotypical image about the Arabic Islamic culture in the mind of Non-Arabic learners .
• The writings of the missionaries and orient lists in the hostile mass media to Islam have contributed to cerate the stereotypical image about the Arabic Islamic culture .
• It is possible to correct stereotypical image about the Arabic Islamic culture though the Arabic Language teaching materials for speakers of other languages if developed according to the scientific bases .
The researcher recommended the following :
• The necessity of utilizing the Arabic Language teaching programs to the speakers of other languages as a ground for correcting the false concepts and wrong impression about the Arabic Islamic culture .
• The importance of talking care of the Arabic language teacher, and training him/her in order to play the required role to the fullest .
