Abstract:
.ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to study the students welfare and its relationship with Academic adjustment, and Academic achievement at International university of Africa.
The researcher used the descriptive and correlation method.
The sample was selected from the University of Africa studens, at Bachelor program,where sample size(400) students males and females , their ages between (19-27) years old, they were selected by the stratified random method ,the researcher used ( Academic adjustment scale, students satisfaction from the care provided to them and records to determine the results of tests and achievements).
The researcher used the statistical package of social sciences (SPSS) for the purpose of data analysis.
The most important results are:-
1- Students satisfaction for care provided to them is positive.
2- The academic adjustment for the students is high.
3- There is no statistical correlation between students satisfaction, care provided to them, and their academic achievement
4- There is statistical correlation between students satisfaction ,care and their academic adjustment
5- There is no statistical correlation between students care and the variable of age.
6- There is no statistical correlation between academic adjustment and the variable of age.
The study presented numbers of recommendations, the most important are:-
1- Clear through the study of the effectiveness of counseling programs that provide for students and then study recommends for counseling or reinforcing the role of psychological counseling at the university focusing on religious counseling programs and outreach weeks.
2- The study recommends raising the level of cooperation and coordination between the departments of faculties and Dean of Student affairs to develop the means to include the evaluation tools as well as records of examinations behavior and activities.
3- The study recommends that the university administration is working to encourage and fund research that interested in building standards and educational and psychological measurements or tests in order to determine the preparations tendencies and abilities of students.
4- The study found poverty guidelines and psychological care, social and student activities, and accordingly, and to build on them, the study recommends additional potentials which is around to all different fields.
5- It is recommended that the study supported the positive traits in the student's personality and this is done by providing encouragement idealists excellences students.
