Abstract

Côte d'Ivoire was one of the first African countries to tackle well the question of national unityand a model of peaceful coexistence, it also was the country which the migrants used to go to ensure their lives. Governments have been able to undermine the factors of division into unity and cohesion, and thus the State has been respected both regionally and internationally.Based on this, the problem of this research is related to what extent those governments succeed to overcome the problem of national unity? What are the challenges of national unity?. The importance of this research is its utility for the decision makers in the African countries as well as the institutions of civil societies. The objectives of the research were to clarify the manifestations of the problem of national unity, to discover the mechanisms in order to confront the problem of unity, to assess the mechanisms of overcoming the problem of unity. The researcher adopted several approaches, i.e. interdisciplinary studies. The research hypotheses highlighted that promoting peaceful coexistence and unity is the only option and guarantor of political stability, economic development and social interaction. The idea of African unity pursued by the governments after independence represents the reality and secrets of their success in administering the State. The politicization of pluralism is a threat to national unity. One of the most important factors in the success of reconciliation is the creation of political will and put the unity above all interests. The research reached several results the most important of which are the following: that presidential and the republican system which was chosen by the Ivorian people as a political system are one of the most important guarantees of national construction and preservation of national unity and coexistence. The secularism declared in the national constitution and the secularism applied on the ground have a vast difference. This difference raises doubts on the credibility of secularism stipulated in the constitution. Some decisions and civil Act, educational policy, cultural and media did not take into account the requirements of pluralism that the country is characterized by. The keen to reach independence and to meet its challenges after the departure of the colonizer represented one of the major challenges for the first governments therefore the idea of unity and brotherhood African integration was adopted for the integration of the citizens of neighboring countries politically, socially and economically. This integration and that tolerance is considered one of the most important secrets of the success of governments in the management of State.

Resumé

La Côte d’Ivoire a été l’un des premiers pays africains modèle pour l’unité nationale et la coexistence pacifique, elle a aussi été la cible des migrants à la recherche d’une vie meilleure. Les gouvernements précédents ont pu transformer les facteurs de division en facteurs d’unité et de cohésion, et l’État a donc été apprécié tant au niveau régional qu’international. Sur cette base, le problème de la recherche a porté sur les questions suivantes: A quels points ces gouvernements ont pu résoudre le problème de l’unité nationale Quels sont les défis de l'unité nationale?. L’importance de cette recherche porte sur son utilité chez les décideurs dans les pays Africains et les institutions des sociétés civiles.La recherche viseà clarifier les manifestations du problème de l'unité nationale, de découvrir les mécanismes permettant d'affronter le problème de l'unité et d'évaluer les mécanismes permettant de résoudre le problème de l'unité.Cette recherche a adopté plusieurs approches ou soit disant la méthodologie des études interdisciplinaires. Les hypothèses de la recherche ont montré que le renforcement du projet de la coexistence pacifique et l’unité est le seul choix et garant de la stabilité politique, du développement économique et de l’interaction sociale. L'idée de l'unité africaine engagée par les gouvernements après l'indépendance représente la réalité des raisons du succès de l'administration de l'État. La politisation du pluralisme représente une menace pour l'unité nationale. L’un des plus importants succès du dialogue, de la réconciliation ainsi que les défis dans l’avenir seront la création d’une véritable volonté politique. L’unité est au-dessus de tout autre intérêt. La recherche a atteint un nombre de résultats dont les plus importants sont : le système présidentiel et républicain choisi par le peuple ivoirien comme système politique, représente le garant le plus important dans la construction nationale ,la préservation de l’unité nationale et de la coexistence pacifique. La laïcité déclarée dans la constitution nationale et la laïcité appliquée sur le terrain connaissent une différence vaste et cette différence jette le doute sur la crédibilité de la laïcité stipulée dans la constitution. Certains Codes Civils et décisions ainsi que les politiques éducatives, médiatiques et culturelles ne tiennent pas compte des exigences de la diversité que caractérise l’Etat. Le souci de l’acquisition de l’indépendance et les défis après la sortie du colonisateur ont représenté les problèmes majeurs des premiers gouvernements et c’est ainsi que l'idée de la fraternité et de l'unité africaine est née pour l'intégration des citoyens des pays voisins politiquement, socialement et économiquement. Cette intégration fut l'un des secrets les plus importants du succès des gouvernements dans la gestion de l’Etat.
