Abstract:
The main objectives of this study are to build a list of teaching skills based on quality of teaching performance standards for faculty members at the International University of Africa (Faculty of Education), and to find out the extent to which the quality of performance according to total quality standards of the faculty members. The researcher used for the purpose of this study, the descriptive method and used the Questionnaire as a tool for data collecting
The study reached the following results:
1. Availability of teaching skills associated with teaching methods are highly significant at the International University of Africa staff members (Faculty of Education).
2- Availability of teaching skills associated with the means of education and teaching techniques are moderately significant at the international University of Africa staff members (Faculty of Education).
3- Availability of teaching skills associated with the interaction and communication of the faculties are highly significant at the International University of Africa staff members (Faculty of Education.
4. Availability of teaching skills related to the measurement and evaluation of teaching are highly significant at the International University of Africa staff members (Faculty of Education).
The study recommends the following:
1.There is an urgent need to disseminate the culture of quality among the faculties.
2Increasing of awareness of the importance of holding workshops and training courses in the field teaching skills among faculty members.
3. Holding training courses and workshops for the development of teaching skills of faculty members , with a focus on skills that are relevant to the field of the use of teaching methods and techniques, and make attending of these training courses and workshops, a condition of promotion.
4. Developing an effective system to evaluate the performance of faculty members at the University.
